Did you know that Swarovski have reduced the price of their new 8.5x42 amd 10x42 binoculars by about £300, but the models at this price have an increased close focussing point?

For example, the original EL 8.5X42 (£1865), its shortest focus was 1.5m/4.9ft, but the cheaper model (£1520) is now only up to 3.3m.

I see this as a significant disadvantage. the binoculars, as ever, we believe are the best in the world.
