Repairs

Bring your faulty camera/ binoculars etc to the shop initially, and we will inspect and advise whether in our experience your equipment is wirth sending off for repair. If not, we can advise on replacement models. We handle most guarantee and non-guarantee repairs. For equipment under guarantee we will charge an amount to cover handling, postal costs, insurance etc.. from £5.00 to £20.00 depending on various things.

We can sometimes do simple repairs in shop, but most often we will send your faulty equipment off to get an estimate of cost to repair. The cost of an estimate to repair is £20.00 ( for equipment out of guarantee period). If you go ahead with the quote, this £20.00 is deducted from the total cost. It normally takes 10 days-2 weeks to get an estimate - and we will contact you to advise of cost. If you proceed with the repair most repairs are completed and returned to us within 2 weeks (delays are possible if spare parts are not in stock).

We only use original manufacturers to repair, or their recommended service centres. Most repairs have the work done guaranteed for 6 months.
