A spotting scope is a telescope designed primarily for terrestrial observation, giving a much higher magnification than a binocular.

Spotting scopes are ideally suited for such activities as birdwatching and nature study, digiscoping, observing scenery, and surveillance. Not forgetting that it can be pointed at the night sky!

Depending on the type and design of the spotting scope, the useful magnification will range from about 20X to 60X, using either fixed or zoom eyepieces. We stock the angled bodies as opposed to straight bodies, as our customers have always found these easier to use. Straight bodies are available to order as required.
