Flic analogue films

January 2024

I am planning to dedicate a couple of pages of the website to feature local analogue film users - what films they like, what they like shooting, a couple of their favourite photos, how they got into film photography etc. Now just need some film user victims to step forward lol.

I am especially interested in people shooting films like Lomography, Washi, Flic, Cinestill, Infrared films, 126mm, panoramic, half-frame, 127mm  etc.

If you fancy a bit of free publicity for your hobby, see me (Jen) in the shop, or email me a bit of info about yourself (j-darwin@btconnect.com)

Flic Elektra

100 ISO 36 exposures

£14.99

January sale - NOW £12.99

elektra

Elektra 100 is a C-41 process colour film with extremely fine grain, high exposure latitude and fine acuity. It is manufactured from Kodak Aerocolour IV.

This is Respooled KODAK Aerocolor IV color negative film. Kodak and Aerocolor IV are trademarks of Eastman Kodak Company.

Elektra 100 is a fine grained medium speed film with excellent acuity and true color rendition. It should be noted that this film has a tendency to light pipe, eg. the light will travel up the leader and into the first three frames. Load the film in very low light conditions.

This film is not DX coded, but the default setting for cameras that cannot identify a DX code is 100 ASA, which matches the speed of the film.

Goes through standard C-41 colour processing.

Flic Chrome

100 ISO 36 exposures

Colour slide E6 film.

£19.99

rt5

Chrome 100 is a daylight-balanced colour transparency film characterised by its extremely fine grain structure, vibrant colour rendering, and overall low contrast profile. The lower contrast values contribute to a wide dynamic range and a neutral tonal scale for greater colour accuracy, and a low D-min helps to ensure brighter, whiter whites.

It has a medium-speed nominal sensitivity of ISO 100/21° when developed in E-6 process and the smooth grain profile pairs with a micro-structure optimised T-GRAIN emulsion to make it especially well-suited to scanning applications.

This is Respooled KODAK Ektachrome 100D colour positive film. Kodak and Ektachrome are trademarks of Eastman Kodak Company.
